Bright SCP Fanfic 1

The chaos made it clear exactly which family occupied the majority of this room.

There was the infamous Jack Bright, who had done so much for the foundation. Then there was 05-6, or Mikell Bright, who was shifting uncomfortably under the piercing gaze of TJ. Right now, by some odd happenstance, he was lucid and calm. And all the rest, or at least, all the legitimate ones.

Or at least, they thought it was all of them, until she walked in.

She looked to be around six, though her eyes were much older and wiser. A pair of white-feathered wings seemed to both be there and not be there on her back; the only one who could properly understand them, bizarrely, was David Blindman, who was representing the Unnumbered Brood. She scanned the group and said, in a clear, sharp voice, "You are all here..." Her gaze lingered a moment longer on David. "...or at least, most of you. Good."

Before anyone could so much as sneeze, she said, "I am known by many names. Angel, Agawin, Alexa... ah, but we're getting ahead of ourselves, aren't we?" Angel, or Agawin, or Alexa, nodded her head. "I am a member of your family... in a way. I don't care to explain why or how I came to be here, but..." She wrinkled her nose. "Oh, Mandible is here. Very well..." A beast, almost 15 feet tall by eye measure, materialized next to her. It seemed to be covered in thin, incredibly sharp spines, and it had large mandibles, most likely where it had gotten its name from. Poison dripped from its every edge; wherever the clear liquid landed, a hole was burned in the floor.

The girl sniffed as Echidna said, "That isn't a monster I made."

"Of course it's not." And she offered no more explanation, instead hissing something in a language only the woman who made monsters could understand. She
