A native New Yorker, Dr. Zubkoff graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. After completing his residency, Dr. Zubkoff completed a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at NYU Medical Center.

Dr William Zubkoff was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 29th, 1952. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, he attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Stanford University.

Zubkoff began his career as a psychiatrist in private practice in San Francisco. In addition to his clinical work, he has also served as a faculty member at UCSF and Stanford University, and has held leadership positions within several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

His work with the Veterans Administration

Dr William Zubkoff is a highly decorated veteran of the United States Army. He served as a medical doctor during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. After his discharge from the army, he worked as a doctor in the Veterans Administration (VA) system for many years. He was a strong advocate for veteran's rights and worked tirelessly to improve the quality of care that veterans received from the VA.
