How To Add .zip File From Windows 10 to Android Streaming Device (Installing Fen)

  6. Use a Windows computer in conjunction with ‘CX File Explorer’ app on your Android device to create a FTP server.
  7.  
  8. Open it, allow it to manage all media files.
  9. Go to Network, ‘Access From’ and start service.

  11. ON YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER:

  13. To connect to an FTP server, open a File Explorer or Windows Explorer window, click the "This PC" or "Computer". Right-click in the right pane and select "Add a network location".

  15. Don’t log in anonymously, enter the username and password when prompted.

  17. ON YOUR MACOSX:
  18. 01.) Go to System Settings, General and Sharing (Or Sharing in the System Preferences pane)

  20. 02.) Enable remote login
  21.  
  22. 03.) Click the “i” icon to choose whether to allow access to all users or only users you choose. Then quit System Settings

  24. 04.) Go to 'Finder'
  25.  
  26. 05.) Choose the 'Go' menu then click on 'Connect to Server'

  28. 06.) Go back to Cx File Explorer, and enter the IP
  29.  
  30. 07.) If requested: type the username and password
  31. Enabling remote login allows SFTP access to your Mac using the username and password of an account you have allowed access to.

  33. Put the .zip file in ‘Downloads > Downloader’ folder.
  34.  
  35. Make sure you have Kodi permissions enabling all media in settings.

  37. Settings > Kodi > Permissions > Files and Media > Allow management of all files
