  41. Recently, a case was presented in the popular UFO press, (UFO Magazine,
  42. Sunland CA), in which the US Air Force stated that the "MJ-12 Presidential
  43. Briefing Paper", was "bogus" in reply to an Freedom of Information Act request
  44. (FOIA).
  45.  
  46. This file contains reproductions of all documents received from the FBI in
  47. response to our FOIA requests about investigations into the release of the
  48. supposedly highly classified "MJ-12" paper. In short, the FBI now says that
  49. the "MJ-12" paper is "bogus" too.
  50.  
  51. The events described in these documents are most interesting. Please note the
  52. role of Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI): An AFOSI Special
  53. Agent approaches the Dallas FBI office with a copy of the MJ-12 paper, asking
  54. the FBI to determine the authenticity of the document. FBI Dallas asks FBI
  55. Headquarters, (FBIHQ), Washington DC, what to do. FBIHQ asks AFOSI
  56. Heaquarters, Washington DC, and is told that the document is "fabricated", and
  57. "completely bogus". FBIHQ "advises" Dallas FBI to close the investigation.

  319. has been local publicity regarding "OPERATION MAJESTIC-12"
  320. with at least two appearances on a local radio talk show,
  321. discussing the MAJESTIC-12 OPERATION, the individuals involved,
  322. and the government's attempt to keep it all secret. It is
  323. unknown if this is all part of a publicity campaign.

  783. with at least two appearances on a local radio talk show,
  784. discussing the MAJESTIC-12 OPERATION, the individuals involved,
  785. and the government's attempt to keep it all secret. It is
  786. unknown if this is all part of a publicity campaign.
