Alice- Candles

I reached out with my magic and all the candles in the chapel flickered together and then went out, plunging us into darkness.

To do that was easy-peasy. But for anyone else but Tom it would have been the scariest thing they’d seen for many a long year. Already there were screams and moans of fear from nearby. So I didn’t leave them in darkness for very long. I reached out again and the candles began to ignite, one by one. As each wick burst into flame, it hissed like a feral cat.
