- Notes:
- General:
- All the input fields that support letters are case sensitive. All the tools that
- have checkboxes will be in gray if not checked unless it says otherwise in the
- tool's description. When a field supports letters, numbers, special characters
- and spaces. By saying letters, I mean it'll support both Romanized letters,
- Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.
- Note length:
- Supports numbers only. Needs to be checked to work. If the note(n) is shorter(<)
- than the value entered, the settings below apply(perfect for Consonant Velocity).
- If it's unchecked, the plugin will act as if it doesn't exist.
- Note control(the little dropdown list on the right of Note length box):
- Will work only if the note is specified. The default is blank value which means
- that the option will be ignored. It's used for lyrics in different ranges
- (perfect for Flags). Available notes are from B7(highest)
- to C1(lowest).
- "Up" and "Down":
- Are a help to specify a tonal range of notes which will be affected by the
- settings which means that if you check "Up" the notes from the specified note up
- will all be affected. Same goes for the down option. If none selected, the
- plugin will only change the settings of the specified note. If the note is
- blank, they are grayed out. If one is checked the other one will automatically
- get grayed out.
- ______________________________________________________________________________
- Crossfade tool:
- Will work only if the checkbox is checked.
- Lyrics box:
- Will support letters, spaces, special characters and numbers and they will be
- treated as strings. You'll use a comma(",") in between different lyric inputs.
- Only the lyrics specified will be affected by the settings you have set below.
- ______________________________________________________________________________
- Envelope control:
- Will affect the velocity of the sample. I don't need to get into deep detail
- here because all of it is not important.
- "p"s and "v"s:
- Supports humbers only. "p"s are for horizontal and "v"s are for vertical value.
- Highest value of "v" is 200 and the lowest is 0. Highest value for "p" is 500
- and lowest is 0. Number that follows them tells us which dot is it.
- Default values for dots will be:
- (number of the dot=horizontal value; vertical value)
- 1=0; 0
- 2=20; 100
- 3=20; 100
- 4=0; 0
- (look at the envelope1.PNG)
- The default value of others is blank. Later, it'll be added by the "ADD" button.
- Fifth dot will follow the second one around until it gets a different value
- (basically, fifth dot has the same value as the second one until specified
- differently). All points' values can be edited in any way.
- ADD button(1):
- It adds another point to the envelope making it more flexible. The value
- assigned to those points is the middle number of front and back dot's value.
- Newly added points will be shown after the second dot, meaning that, then, it'll
- go "1,2,5,6,7,8, ... ,3,4". The button itself will just add the values to the dots
- that will be in the middle of the dot before and the dot after and the vertical
- value will be the same.
- Envelope preview:
- The box itself just mimics the settings we have at the moment. New dots(from 5
- on) will be shown in lighter shade of red. The blue line is there just to show
- how dots are connected. Green line is the overlap and the red line is the
- preutterance. The settings we'll have in Preutterance and Overlap boxes will
- affect these lines. Black line is the middle(100 volume) is the value of
- intensity, it will not be shown in the plugin itself, but I wanted the preview
- to mimic the envelope editor.
- *****<-- Interactive envelope preview mode only.
- *****Line and Select tool:
- *****Line tool is used to draw the line by which the dots will go. Select tool
- *****isn't a draw tool and is used when you just want to move the dots on your
- *****own.
- *****Freehand draw tool is used for freely drawing what the envelope will look
- *****like.
- Preutterance:
- Supports numbers only. Is put where the vowel starts. It will seach for the
- specified aliases in the Lyrics box in oto.ini and will use those values.
- However, if you want to force a certain value on all the specified samples(not
- recommended) you'll just need to input your own value, otherwise, it should be
- left blank. Forcing a value on samples will be good only when the specified
- voicebank doesn't have Preutterance/Overlap values on standalone vowels.
- Overlap:
- Supports numbers only. Is put on the ending point of the overlaping part of the
- consonant. Features are the same as Preutterance.
- _____________________________________________________________________________
- Consonant Velocity:
- Supports numbers only. Highest value is 200, lowest value is 0. Chops off the
- consonant.
- BRE:
- Supports numbers only. Maximum value is 100 and lowest is 0. Short for
- breathiness.
- Format filter:
- Should be left checked.
- Flag:
- Supports numbers, letters, plus("+") and minus("-") sign(still working on
- that one).
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- ADD button(2):
- Adds another crossfading property like the one explained above. It has the
- default settings.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Other:
- Is the same as above, it just gives the specified settings to all the sounds
- which weren't specified above.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Long notes:
- Will add the specified settings to the ending points ("3" and "4"; if available
- two dots before them too(unless 1, 2)).
- n>:
- Supports numbers only. If the note(n) is longer(>) than the value, settings
- apply.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Settings save:
- The default settings are, naturally, the default value.
- This allows you to save your settings so they won't be lost. Default property
- won't be deletable so the "DEL" option will be grayed out. You can manually
- delete it, but it'll cause the plugin to crash. You can make your settings the
- default ones by renaming your settings to "default". You'll be able to open
- them in any plain text editor and change numbers manually(but who would want to
- do that???).
