  2. How factors such as pH, temperature, and substrate affect enzyme activity?
  3. The factors such as pH, temperature, and substrate affect enzyme activity by influencing and altering its catalytic activity. When there is an activity, there will always be a variety of factors that supports it. In addition, enzymes are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions in cells. Each enzyme can only degrade one substrate. Enzymes are created in the body's cells and influence the pace of practically all chemical reactions that occur in living organisms. Temperature, pH, and substrate concentration all have an effect on the rate of enzyme activity. It also plays a crucial role in metabolic reactions, influencing how cells and organisms mature and adapt. Altogether, they reflect on the current metabolic circumstances and cause changes in the fundamental properties of the enzyme and its interaction to boost enzymatic processes. Changes in the environment affect certain factors, enhancing or suppressing enzyme activity and the speed of enzymatic processes.
