Behind them, Kong battled toe to toe with Gaw. The giant beast roared and pounded with his fists, controlling his fury just enough to avoid the razor-sharp teeth of Gaw’s relentlessly darting head. Gaw shrieked in pain and anger with each of Kong’s blows and fought back. When even her great size and powerful arms proved incapable of fending off Kong’s attack, Gaw sought to eviscerate her opponent with her lethal hind feet, but Kong proved too wily to be caught. Gaw tried to lash with her tail and snapped with dagger-lined jaws at every chance.
