Email wasnt created by programmers it was created by scientists.
But the email app was created to protect the programmers.
Pogrammers could just do something like cd /some/folder/sheuses
Go, touch readme
But, that would create a zero length file.
And some always question the aesthetics of those.  So debate ensues.
So edlin readme, or edit readme, editfile, where editfile is a shellfunction
similar to edfile() {

There just has to be a way to write to same file, of course, they're always
people who just pass thru the network, like to do things and then say they're
inspired by the Reaganism.

Even tho the more scientific approach would of course, be log file structured
file system, with the feature that it could present to the C programmer,
something like CreateEmail(File *, TO, SUBJECT, FROM ) So, no, need
whatsoever to establish the single blank line mechanism.  The above implies
what, to the programmer?  The file handle is created first, so whats that
like? An ioctl. So it's doable in the early nineties.  But course, message
passing, should appear more desirable so what happened to that approach?, its
stalled.

So what's the killer feature about the email app, well it had two.
It protects the programmers that scientists like.
It's always quick. Even if the computer is crashing or anything, to decide
to check email.  Wanna check that email, and leave?
And your drafts go into a special folder somewhere not a temp directory. Of
course programmers things like exec edfile readme, then logout is implied
after edit or the whatever, or the system resets.
