Anthelion: Open for select applications.

Due to the unfortunate extended downtime of ptp, Anthelion has decided to open its doors to any ptp member, as well as review applications for other potential members. We have contacted ptp's SR Staff, and received their approval to hold an invite drive for their members. Anyone is welcome to apply but we will reserve the right to deny any application that is not from a verified ptp member.

Just to note: We do not claim to be a replacement for ptp in anyway, nor claim to have a database even equivalent to them, we are simply trying to allow more users access to our site to find some content they may no longer have access to.

Rar'd files are NOT permitted to be uploaded. You are free to use a VPN to both browse and seed on the tracker, but signups over a vpn/datacenter IP are not permitted. VPN whitelisting is not required at this time.

Some additional unique features to Anthelion:

    Adoption System: This is a way to reward users that intend to perma-seed, by offering them a fixed amount of orbs (bonus points) determined by the uploader of the torrent that increases over time. This is no longer mandatory for uploaders however, please read below.

    Films can be searched directly from TMDB, so if you are looking for a particular film, you would search it like any other torrent, and be taken to its film page where you would either be able to download it if available, or request it to be uploaded.

    Drag and Drop upload support. Anthelion allows you to upload a .torrent and provide the mediainfo the same as any other site would, and supports this via the web php form, or over api via a post request. However when using the web ui, all you "need" to do is select the mkv in the same area you would append the .torrent, and the site will create a .torrent for you, then allow you to redownload it after upload to add to your client. Next drag and drop that same mkv file into the mediainfo field, and all of the identifying information will be parsed for you. Simply confirm the title poster shown from tmdb. It will also tell you if this title is already on the site, then redirect you to add an additional format of it if necessary.

    Contrary to popular belief, Anthelion does not force uploaders to perma-seed or spend orbs to place uploads for adoption. Yes all uploaders are encouraged to seed for as long as possible, and in the event a torrent that a user uploads ends up having zero seeds, they will receive an unseeded torrent notification, the same as on many sites. However the 'requirement' to place said torrent up for adoption is mitigated by the prior seedtime of the uploader. The amount of orbs required to place a torrent for adoption is decreased based on how many days it has been seeded, down to zero at which point the uploader no longer has the responsibility to seed it, or take any action, however they are encouraged to still do so.

    Anthelion also features an API that can be searched externally, to parse your existing torrent client and setup cross-seeds to begin gathering passive orbs.


Important Notes -- Please read this carefully:

    Signups for non-ptp users are being offered via our IRC server, the entire process is automated, and you are not required to stay in the generated channel after providing your information, that is optional.

    Ptp-users must use the email address for their ptp account when signing up, this will be validated later, and any users trying to exploit this will be reported. You may select a different username if you wish.

    Ptp users must be in good standing, not warned or disabled, or otherwise restricted from any part of ptp's webpage. (This means if you did something bad and were barred from their forums or other sections of the page, that would not be covered by a warning)

    Users will be asked to provide their profile and accompanying proofs of being a member of ptp. In the event you were not a ptp member prior, you may provide two other private tracker profiles/proofs, and ANT Staff will evaluate your application and approval will be based on your stats on the trackers you provide. (Please don't bother with Proofs from trackers that support pay-to-join or run completely open-signups regularly.) And yes a screenshot of your client showing ptp torrents errored will count as proof.

    Proof Screenshots from other trackers should be an unredacted full page display of your profile, the only area you would be permitted to censor is your passkey if displayed on that page. All users requesting an invite, will need to send the direct link of the image, not the link to imgur/etc containing the image, Our form requires a 'hotlinked' url to an img, as in it needs to end in .jpg or .png Example of what not to send: https://imgur.com/lNGHZps

    Do not request an invite for anyone but yourself. Doing so may get your account banned.

    Do not request an invite if you've had an account at ANT in the past, Instead visit #ant-disabled in our IRC.


[How to Apply: PTP Applicants]

    Please Visit https://anthelion.me/ptp (if you have issues you can also access that link from https://anthelion.me/register.php?ptp=1 )

    Fill in your current PTP username and email for tracking purposes, you will be able to select a new username for Anthelion if you wish, but the invite will be sent to this email.

    Please provide a profile proof image if you have one, or an image of your client showing errored torrents. (This will be validated later)

    Click request invite, and after verification, you will receive your invite to that email address.

(If you do not receive your invite within 3 days, please come to IRC as shown below to request a status update.)

[How to Interview: Non-PTP Applicants]

    Connect to our irc server located at irc.nebulance.cc ssl port 6697 (please note that nebulance invites are not a part of this application drive, however we share an irc server.)

    Join the room #ant-invites

Upon joining that room you will be greeted by our friendly bot Sauron, please be nice to him. He will give you instructions on how to open a private room and how to send us your information. After staff reviews your information they will either approve or reject the application, which will auto-close the channel but you are free to disconnect or leave at anytime after providing your information. If you find that you have not received an invite within 3 days of application, then you may rejoin our IRC using the same username, run the interview command again, and Sauron will inform you as to why you were rejected.
