- I had just picked you up from child services about an hour ago. I had walked in, signed the final papers, and led you to my car. I had made eye contact, but I hadn't yet spoken a word. The whole ride home so far, had been silence. Finally, we arrived at my house, it was decent size, and the driveway was pretty wide. We pulled in, and I stopped the car. I got out, and went around to your door, and opened it, just staring at you for a minute before saying, "Get out of the car. We're home." I had a slight grin on my face, as I was imagining what to do with you. "Come on Natalie, it's cold, we must go inside."
