Water will remain calm inside the tank and mostly only change in colour.

Duration of the ritual - lasts from twenty to sixty minutes. If the memory component is included, it will run from earliest years of the user till present moment, with the plumes appearing within the reflection surface.

During the course of the ritual, the target of the ritual might experience short glimpses of the past memories, brief phantom or real headaches, head spinning, increasal or decreasal of heart rate, and wide array of emotions.

Considered to be the most taxing, both for the ritualist and the target. Double so if ritualist is also a target - maintaining the concentration is the hardest part.

By default:

Water and its colour reflects the emotions and the state of mind.
The bubbles will reflect the mind's security.
Plumes reflect the memories integrity.

[ State of mind.
- Clear water will linger towards tranquility. Also it will remain clear with greenish tint, if the user resists the scan. The colour and its tone will reflect the type and intensity of the emotions.

Colour chart:
Red = Rage. From bright red to visciously dark red - fury and hatred.
Orange = Avarice, longing, desire.
Yellow = Fear, anxiety, nightmare.
Green = Willpower, tenasity, resolve.
Blue = Hope, ambition, faith.
Indigo = Compassion, benevolence, sorrow.
Violet = Love, affection, zeal.
Black = Death, loss, tiredness.
White = Life, children, just.

[ State of security.
- The bubbles size, colour and speed of raising or falling reflects many parameters, most of them unknown.

Colour chart:
Light-blue colour of the bubbles means target's mind is protected by an arcane spell.
Light-green colour of the bubbles means target's mind is protected by an artifact.
Indigo colour of the bubbles means target's mind was recently affected by some form of magic.
Violet colour of the bubbles means target's mind is currently affected by some form of magic.
The size would determine the severity of the problem.

[ State of memory - if there are any physical or magical alterations.
- Silvery plumes indicates that nothing affects the target magically. Any change of the plume's colour will indicate that there is a problem.

Colour chart:
Orange colour represents the possession or memories suppressed by some outside force - geas, curse or entity.
Golden colour represents divine intervention.
Smoky colour represents the repressed memories.
Blue colour represents the fake memories. Things someone put into target's head.
Greyed out colour represents lost memories due to physical trauma.
Black colour indicates that the memories were lost due to magical intervention.

Other colours, shapes present within the water, bubbles erratic behaviour indicate unknown variables or anomalies.
