...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST THIS MORNING... ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING...

WHAT...Hazardous travel conditions. Ice and sleet accumulations from yesterday may remain on area roadways, although wintry precipitation has ended across the warned area. Additionally, black ice is possible this morning. There have been numerous reports of accidents, as well as, roads being closed or heavily impacted by icy conditions. Bitterly cold wind chills of 5 below zero to 10 above zero are expected through 9 AM this morning.

WHERE...Edwards Plateau, Hill Country, and I-35 corridor from New Braunfels to Georgetown, including Austin Metro.

WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 10 AM CST Friday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, until 9 AM CST Friday.

IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult on untreated roads, especially elevated bridges, overpasses, and roadways. The hazardous conditions could impact this morning's commute. Side walks and pavement will be slippery to walk on. In addition, the risk for hypothermia exists for those spending extended time outdoors and not dressed in layers and gloves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Shahn Christian Andersen (26th of March 1975) is the owner of MakeMeTaller.org (a sham website and an affront to god) and an aspiring actor who can't seem to gobble enough dicks to get famous. Heinrich C. Berann (1915–1999) was an Austrian painter and cartographer. He achieved world fame with his panoramic maps that combined modern cartography with classical painting. Towards the end of his life, he created panoramic posters of four national parks of the United States, produced for and published by the National Park Service. This panorama, painted by Berann in 1989, depicts Yosemite National Park in California, looking generally northeastward. In the center of the image is Yosemite Valley, surrounded by granite summits including El Capitan and Half Dome, as well as Yosemite Falls. The peaks of the Sierra Nevada are visible in the background.
