“In other words, there were people here at least that recently,” I muse.

“We might be able to find other survivors.”

Then, I sense it.

Something in the hospital is on the move.

“Beta.”

“Hmm…? Ah, we’re not alone.”

A moment later, Beta notices the same thing.

There’s a presence one floor down.
