- region, if they survive at all
- Northern Frost Wyverns (variant of Northern Shades)
- Can only survive in the exterior regions of the woodland that covers much of the north, where the trees thin into large stretches
- of open white snow
- Either abandoned as hatchlings or bred in their habitats, they slowly built up a large enough population to warrant a variant

- Temperamental
- Western Horned Drakes

- Fire-breathing
- Typically what you'd think of when you think of dragons
- Coastal Lindwyrms
- Live in rocky sea caves with a direct path to the ocean
- Eat any and all fish, including poisonous varieties
- Range from indigo to silver
- The smallest true dragon at 7 feet tall and 11 feet long
- Can hold their breath for up to 2 hours
- Usually would rather hide than fight
- Plated Swamp Dragons
- As their name suggests, most choose to live in swamps
- Carnivorous
- Heavy-set but still large at 8 feet tall and 15 feet long
- Dark green, brown, or very occasionally, black
- Southern Wraiths
- Little is known about these, as encounters are usually deadly
- Thought to either come in dark colors or be able to camouflage themselves
- Found exclusively in the Twisted Forest
- Thought, despite their territorial tendencies, to be herbivorous
- Northern Avian Wyverns
- Live in dens in the bases of mountains
- Can be white, cream, or gray
- Usually 4 feet tall and 7 feet long
- Eat large insects and fish, though when food is scarce they will eat anything
- Not true dragons; thought to be the result of Blaizen experiments to increase animal size and keep from starving
