Tail vs building

ゴジラは一通り、日劇を破壊すると、体を大きく回して、尻尾を棚のように振り回した。

Once Godzilla destroyed the Japanese theater, he turned his body around and swung his tail around like a rack.

一瞬の出来事だった。その半径上にあった建造物はことごとく灰燼に帰した。朝日新聞本社ビルもその一撃に屋上の記者達もろとも瓦礫の山となってしまった。

It happened in an instant. All the buildings within its radius were reduced to ashes. The Asahi Shimbun headquarters building was reduced to a pile of rubble along with the reporters on the roof.

「なんと言うことでしょう。朝日新聞本社が今怪物の尻尾の一撃で無に帰してしまいました」

“What can I say? The Asahi Shimbun headquarters has just been reduced to nothing by a blow from the monster’s tail.”
