Hin'tui turns and stalks from the room, checking his wrist bracer. The creature is on the move, above him. Again, not his concern. All that matters is the Hunt. He checks his bracer. The creature has doubled back, heading toward them, in the space above. He puts his hand on his blade.-pg.126 chpt.4

Then he points down the corridor and snarls. Carol runs. As Hin'tui hoped, the Kiande Amedha above pauses. Whether it can hear her or it can sense her as she flees, it doesn't matter. It will not be able to resist the lure of prey. It's moving. Fast.
