 <p><b>Biography</b>: Xumon is a small, cheerful lad that plays their silly little instruments and goes on totally not life-threatening adventures! They accompany other adventurers to fight off monsters. They can play a wide variety of stringed instruments, but they're most often seen with a pipa.</p>

 <p>They don't play an offensive role on the battlefield besides playing awfully convenient background music. Some wonder if they're actually an adventurer at all. In reality, they amplify the fighters' damage by playing fast-paced music, and help them recover quicker by playing slower melodies afterwards! Though, no one has actually noticed......</p>

<p><b>Backstory</b>: However, Xumon wasn't always this cheery and silly - they were once monotonous, apathetic, and empty. They gained their instrument skills from a young age from their parents making them take violin lessons. Though, as a result of receiving strict parenting and emotional neglect, they grew to hate their parents.</p>

<p>On one fateful evening, Xumon was supposed to do a violin performance at a party. They were sick of being seen as nothing more than a trophy to their parents, so they planned ahead. They read books about dark music magic that creates adverse effects. With a piezoelectric violin in hand, and one single warning to the audience to cover their ears (with the exception of their parents), they played.</p>

<p>No one listened to their warning, and everyone felt the sheer weight of the music. No physical harm was done, but the magic caused mental, internal agony. A lot of stamina was drained from Xumon as well. Despite their attempt at revenge, their parents were merely disappointed and ashamed. Yes, they were shocked and upset, but didn't care to understand what caused Xumon to act this way. Every cry of help from a childhood until now wasn't heard.</p>

<p>So Xumon left without warning and became an adventurer. They cut their long hair, changed their demeanor, and took on a cutesy, happy persona. They practiced other instruments, and learned how to properly use magic with music that didn't cause suffering. Over time, they genuinely grew to be a happier, goofier person, and made allies along the way. Of course, many adventurers got annoyed at them for "sitting there and playing music," but that's also because Xumon refuses to elaborate they're using buffing magic. Why? Because it's funny.</p>

<p>They also learned how to play offensive music magic safely, but choose not to use it unless needed. In a worst case scenario, they can use dark magic as well. This young adventurer is not to be underestimated!</p>
