How to Jailbreak a 3.55 PS3 TUTORIAL by BaSs_HaXoR

Got a new 3.55 CFW PS3 and don't know how to install a CFW and get online?

Here's how:

=========================================================STEP ONE:=========================================================
DOWNLOAD: http://rebug.me/download/4.46.1_REX_LINKS.rar

Put the .PUP file onto a USB in the following folder/subfolder: "USB/PS3/UPDATE/"
and name the .PUP to "UPDAT.PUP".

So you USB should look like this: USB/PS3/UPDATE/UPDAT.PUP

Once you have done that, update from your 3.55 directly to the 4.46.1 REX CFW. If you can't install from XMB, install via RECOVERY MODE. (GOOGLE HOW TO GET INTO RECOVERY MODE)

(DIRECT DOWNLOAD:) http://www.mediafire.com/download/3w0yfnuvklh4skj/SpooF_4.60_for_All_CFW_4.55-4.50-4.46-CEX_or_REX_1.06_by_ARCH.pkg.195.v1.05_brewology_com.pkg

Install the .pkg file on your PS3 by simply putting the file on the Root of your USB, and plugging the USB into your NOW CFW'd PS3. Go to "INSTALL PACKAGE FILES" and it will search your USB for the CEX-Spoofer.pkg. Install it, then after installing it, run the newly installed SPOOFER. If it asks any questions, just answer them accordingly, and continue with the installation.

Wait for your PS3 to restart, and if it doesn't restart, shut your PS3 off manually.

When you boot it back up you should be able to Create A NEW PSN account, and login (Given your ConsoleID isn't banned).

If your PS3 Bricks, Gets RSOD, or for some reason only shows a black screen, boot into recovery mode and REINSTALL THE SAME FIRMWARE I PROVIDED (REBUG 4.46.1 REX) over again. And then try the SPOOFER again.
