  1. No matter if it's about a random trail between banana palms, getting soaked under a waterfall or being on top of the world on a mountain peak, hikers gonna love it!

  7. Food is decent (try their Lapas and the hanging skewers), locals are warm and it's raining with rainbows. If you get an AirBnB into a typical stone house, then you'll feel the connection with the island for real.

  11. I know it's not on the main land, but this is a must see. Step on this tiny island with one of the longest and finest beaches by Porto Santo ferry and you won't regret it. If I'd go again to Madeira, I'll stay one month here and visit the rest for a few days instead.
