  1. No, that's not true. Diploma students in Canada are still eligible for post-graduation work permits (PGWPs). However, there are some changes to the eligibility criteria starting from November 1, 2024. To be eligible, diploma students must complete at least 50% of their program in-class in Canada. This means that online studies alone will not count towards the PGWP eligibility.
