Bella was currently set up some poor choom's knee back in place after his tendons didn't deploy like they should have. Some story about jump off a high building or some gonk shit like that.  gave Delamaine Excelsior the coords and honestly, this was just as a polite AI as the original was so, he was pleased. Rome's only got one contact in Pacifica and he's already used up the goodwill there, so he completely gets it. They're not the most trusting and are the hardest to trust over there. "Fuck Fingers." Said very candidly, literally all the homies hated Fingers. "Might be a little bit before your time but 'fore you arrived in Night City, that kid made waves." He'll give V the rundown he gave Vik and Panam; how the Edgeglider was in the centre of some big cover up a year ago, more deets than what Falco gave him in exchange for the Kang Tao story. Granted, there's lots that David himself can clear up. "So that was you guys huh?" slow nod, impressed. Genuinely, suddenly made him a little more assured in the upcoming job. "Kid's got a lot of potential heat and having downgraded his chrome? Probably having an effect on him, Vik said he's good for the job but he'll need an eye over him for sure." They may as well knock out two birds with one stone, so a message to David was sent out, giving him the Ripperdoll's address to meet.

Oh they hated V because he pretty much wiped out the old Brigitte-Placide hierarchy. They tried to off him with a virus, and he accidentally lead Netwatch to them. If they had been nicer, that wouldn't have happened. Though killing Placide? That was a happy time. PSA: don't bring violent, human-hating AIs through the Blackwall, kids. "I heard some details. David:
 The new meds from Vik helped. It didn't make all the difference in the world, but it kept him from seeing shit where it wasn't--mostly. The twitch in his leg never completely went away, but he was comfortable enough in his own skin to do freelance work for something other than to quell the shakes; he'd just finished up with a gig off the NCPD scanner. Nothing major, and certainly nothing as intense as what the rest of the crew dealt with, just a Maelstrom shakedown in a public plaza. His knuckles were still wet with blood and lubricant when the call came in, a request to meet. Couldn't just blow it off, he'd lied through his teeth to try and get Vik to not recommend he be taken off the job. Bad manners, anyway. Mom would've said something like that. So he grabbed one of the ganger's cycles and jetted off toward the ripperdoll's place, no time to lose.
