- iOS Instructions:
- Connect via L2TP/IPsec:
- 1.) In your dock, click on 'System Preferences' and find 'Network'
- 2.) In the sidebar, click on the '+' plus sign to create a new VPN configuration
- 3.) Select 'VPN' and 'L2TP over IPSec' and give it a name.
- 4.) Go to 'vpngate.net' and find a connection with L2TP/IPSec
- 4A.) Add the server address in the server box. The server address will look like 'public-vpn-xxx.opengw.net' (for example)
- 4B.) If the DDNS doesn't work - try with the IP address (I.E: 219.XXX.XX.211)
- 5.) In the 'Account Name' box, enter 'vpn'
- 6.) Go into 'Authentication Settings' and also enter 'vpn' as the 'Password' and 'Shared Secret' and click on 'Ok'
- 7.) Click on 'Advanced', in 'Session Options' enable 'Send all traffic over to VPN connection' and click on 'OK'
- 8.) Click on 'Apply' to save the settings
- 9.) When ready; click on 'Connect'
