Godzilla notices cable

甲板の作業員からの宣言と共に、ケーブルが見事に交差した。あとはケーブルでできた輪を縮めていって、ゴジラのボディに締め付けるように巻き付けるだけだ。

With a declaration from the deck workers, the cables crossed beautifully. All that’s left to do is shrink the loop made of cable and wrap it tightly around Godzilla’s body.

そのまま最大船速で二隻はケーブルの環を縮めていった。

The two ships continued to shorten the cable ring at maximum speed.

ブリッジからウイングに出てきた野田が状況を確認した。

Noda came out from the bridge to the wing and checked the situation.

じわじわと輪が狭まっていく中、ゴジラがケーブルに気づいた。その意図するところはゴジラには理解できなかったが、それが何かやっかいなものであることは本能的に理解したようだった。
