This deck is a version of my deck https://pastebin.com/2jLs0FdT and is created to adapt to the current standard format. https://www.pokemon.com/us/play-pokemon/worlds/2017/tcg-masters/ is a link to the decks played recently.

In the current standard format one of the top decks is based on Gardevoir-GX (Burning Shadows 93) a stage 2, 240 hp attacker with a resistance to dark and a weakness to metal. In addition to it's massive stats what makes this pokemon especially dangerous is its attack which does 30 damage times the amount of Energy attached to both Active Pokémon. Although my deck would normally lose against Fairy decks, the registeels serve to exploit the fairy's x2 metal weakness.

Registeel (Awakened Heroes 35) has an attack called Turbo arm which deals 30 damage and attaches a basic energy card from the discard pile to the bench. It's the same as Yveltal (GEN 116)'s oblivion wing and is a very good starter. One registeel can set up the bench and KO popular starters such as Ralts or Alolan Vulpix. What makes this attack potentially deadly though is pairing it with a choice band.

60*2= 120 2 hit KOs on gardevoir Gx with only one energy

In order for Gardevoir Gx to KO registeel the opponent must stack at least 3-4 energy on their sinking ship or use a gallade.

The rainbow energy are mandatory as they allow Zoroark to evolve into break and use foul play to copy attacks. Energy Lotto and Nest ball add consistency. Marshadow Gx is for mirror matches/dark decks.

This strategy needs testing.
