Godzilla height

この列車に乗っていた典子がそう思った時、窓外の日劇方面から信じられないものが歩いているのが見えた。すさまじい大きさの、五〇メートルは超えていそうなその巨体がそこにあった。

Noriko, who was on this train, was thinking this when she saw something unbelievable walking outside her window in the direction of the Nichigeki. There was a huge body of incredible size, probably over 50 meters tall.

同じタイミングでそれを見た乗客達も、今自分が何を見ているのか理解できず、ただぽかんとそれを見ているだけだった。

階段を上りきって、外に出た途端、目の前のゴジラがまるで現実的でない大きさでとくだ存在するのを見て衝撃を受けたアナウンサーの徳田は、それでも逃げ出したくなるのを必死にこらえ、テープに今目の前で起きている現実を吹き込み始めた。

「なんと言うことでしょう。にわかには信じられない様な巨大な生物、怪物が銀座の街を蹂躙しております。身長五〇メートルはあるでしょうか。ようやく復興してきたばかりの銀座の街が次々と破壊されております。辺り一面、火災の黒煙と巻き起こる埃でまるで東京大空襲の再来のような状況になっております」

“What can I say? All of a sudden, an unbelievable gigantic creature and monsters is overrunning the city of Ginza. Is it 50 meters tall? It’s completely destroyed. The whole area is covered in black smoke from the fires and dust, making it look like the Great Tokyo Air Raid all over again.”
