Tas

A dragon walks past you in the tent city outside Jewel Hive. You don't pay much attention to her, so you don't think anything of how she keeps her oddly-shaped wings flattened to the side, or how she isn't wearing much jewelry; all you can see is a glittering silver armband and a small white twist of wood crowning her head. Wait... wood? At first glance, it seems merely to be some kind of metal, but now you're sure it's wood. She must be the daughter of a rich family. However, you soon notice she has no visible black spots; just a streak of brown around her head. You stop her and ask, "Why aren't you wearing anything?" She pauses, then lifts one of her wings; you can see several dots of white, with a thin stripe of black along her side. Suddenly she whips her tail around and stabs you with it, but you strangely can feel no pain... and you can't remember why you were over here or even when you got here. Confused, you turn around and walk away, unaware of the interaction you just had with a mob boss.

Tas is, at first glance, a relatively normal HiveWing. Sure, her wings are a bit oddly shaped, and she doesn't seem to have any black or even dark colors on her until she lifts her wings. And it's not a coincidence that most dragons walk away from a conversation with her confused and conveniently forgetful of what exactly she said.

An elegant head is lifted above her body, held up by a long neck with thin spines running down it. Along her back is more spikes, ending at her tail. When angered, her large, strangely shaped wings are lifted, revealing white freckles and black contour, and her tail is held above her head. The small, inconspicuous stinger is revealed, a bead of her neurotoxin percolating at its tip. Her golden-yellow head fades to a more washed-out sandy yellow for her body, and then at her tail, it rapidly darkens again to a deep brown. Her stinger itself is a silvery yellow, with the venom being pitch black- like staring into a void, it almost seems to suck in light from around it, resulting in the mob nicknaming the venom bottles she sells "Bottles of Night," and also because of its effects. In small doses, it causes memory loss, and in larger doses, it can knock a full-grown dragon out. Tas is quite small, which means she has her jewelry special made. Speaking of jewelry, she only owns two pieces that she typically wears, despite being able to afford much more. One is a bleached wooden headpiece, something like a crown but not quite as pointy. The other is a simple silver armband, studded with pale blue gems at its four poles. When going to an event, she switches these out for slightly shinier variants: a long silver band that wraps around her arm, studded with sapphires all the way up, and a white gold twisted crown.
