Selecting Text

Selecting text.

Hopefully you know this already so I'll keep it brief.

1. Find the text you want to select.

2. Click with the mouse at the beginning of the text with the *left* mouse button, but keep the button held down - do not release it!

3. Move the mouse (with the mouse button still held down) to the end of the piece of text you want to select.

4. Release the mouse button.

5. The text should now be highlighted with a blue background.  This means it is selected.

6.  You can now do stuff with the text.

Note that some text-boxes automatically select the text they contain when you click in them!
