- 1.0 - [Intro]
- ____________________
- Our server previously was a very basic survival server and... It worked great for a start... however times are changing and I believe in innovate or die.
- as such I hope you welcome our brand new RPG server and all the features it will bring. I'll attempt to keep this as detailed as possible...
- And there will be No IP change or requirements on your end.
- 2.0 - [Currency]
- ____________________
- In our Brief past I fiddled with Currency... And as such I decided it would be a Great addition for our new RPG Server.
- But what will Currency do?... Everything. You will need Currency to buy Land and start Towns... Acquire Protection and a vast amount of other features!
- Including.. Player Owned Stores.
- 3.0 - [Jobs]
- ____________________
- How do you make Currency? What are the Job types..? What do they do?!
- Basically Jobs earn you Currency and at the same time are the foundation to the world and Towns.
- The Jobs at this time and ways to make money are Excavator, Florist, Shopkeeper, Slayer
- You must Choose between a Excavator or a Florist. You start with Slayer and will always have it.. Shopkeepers are optional but don't require choosing between anything.
- Jobs are offical.
- And you can Ask your Mayor or King/Queen to add a "Pawn Shop" In town that allows you to pawn off your Basic Supplies you get from your Jobs..
- Or Request one from The "Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc) to add one to your house to pawn things off from your job right at your house!
- 3.1 - [Excavator]
- ____________________
- The Excavator focuses in carving complex underground tunnels!
- Excavators can get "Treasure" from digging in dirt, sand, gravel
- the treasure depends on your level and works like when you find Flint in Gravel.
- They get chances at Double Item Drops.
- Abilities.
- Super Breaker: Chance for Triple Drops on Stone/ore... x3 Tool Damage.
- Giga Drill: Increased speed while Digging.... x3 Tool Damage
- 3.2 - [Florist]
- ____________________
- The Florist... Probably my Favorite personally...
- They grow Crops and Plant/gather All kinds of herbs
- They also chop down wood for trees and purchase Farming Supplies from Herbalist Stores!
- They also have their unqiue abilities! including...
- Double Drops... Increased healing from Food... And Automatic Planting of Seeds among some other Misc small Features like turning Cobblestone into Moss Stone with Seeds.
- Abilities:
- Green Thumb: Changes some blocks into different things with Seeds.
- Tree Feller: Cuts down Trees Rapidly and Blows Leaves away.
- 3.3 - [Shopkeeper]
- ____________________
- Shopkeepers... The Entrepreneurs of Tomorow! Anyone interested in Opening a shop must first Confirm it with their Mayor, King.. or Queen respectively. And at least Two people are required to work at a Shop.
- Beyond That... You may sell anything in your stores at a price you set and be sure to fill your chests Daily! theres always a oppertunity to make some more money in Aerynth!
- 3.4 - [Slayer]
- ____________________
- This is The Profession you start with!
- Slayers are Exterminators and Survivalists!
- They come with a Plethora of Skills Including Swordplay. Axe Mastery.. Unarmed Combat.. Acrobatics... Repairing... Taming.. And Archery
- Abilities:
- Swords: Swords are the basic Survival Skill of all Slayers... Swords Riposite.. Countering Attacks... Gouge opponents... and Make good Defensive style Parrying!
- The Swords Ability causes Bleed Damage in a Area of Effect!
- Axes: Axes are for the Heavy Hitting Crowd! They have the Ability to Crush their opponents under brute Strength having a chance at 300% Increased Damage per Hit
- The Axe Ability hits enemies in a Area of Effect for High Damage.
- Unarmed: Unarmed Combat gives you the ability to Deflect Arrows and have Extremely Powerful Strikes... it is a Solid Skill at High levels can do More Damage than Swords (less than axe still.) And render Ranged opponents defenseless!
- The Unarmed Ability sends the user in a Frenzied Rage doing HEAVY. Single target Damage.
- Archery: Archery is a Great Choice. They have a chance to light targets on Fire and even Dazes them rendering their movements for a short time and even Retrieve some of your Arrows from Fallen Corpses
- There is no Archery Ability.
- Taming: Here you go! A ability Everyone can use! Who doesn't love Familiars?. Whenever you do Combat with your Faithful Furry Companion it will gain XP with a Ton of Bonuses!
- The Abilities of wolves are Reduced Enviroment and Physical Damage... Wolves can Rip off the flesh of its opponent and bleed them dry for damage over time.
- Acrobatics: Who doesnt love flying through the air?! Acrobatics reduces Fall Damage and can even Completely Avoid damage from Falling!
- No Abilities beyond that. You level it through breaking your legs till theres no bones left to break from falling
- Repairing: One of the most Important skills in the game BY FAR. It will save you More Agony and Materials than you can bat a stick at! from Wooden splintered swords to Diamond chipped Helmets Repairing is there for you!
- Through a Iron Block (Only Obtainable through purchasing from a Admin) You will start your Amazing Journey on Repairing! The higher level you are The less materials it takes to Completely Repair tools with Single resources!
- Why make a new Diamond Chestpiece thats 8 Diamonds! when you can simply use One Diamond to completely repair it like new!
- The higher Repair skill you are the more Repairing restores the armor/tool! and it will never cost More Resources Than it takes to make a new one..
- So why rebuild your arsenal when you can Repair them and save a ton of resources on the way!
- 4.0 - [World PVP]
- ____________________
- The Decision to add PVP was a Hard and Risky Move.. But I think we will Prosper from it.
- In world PVP you may Kill anyone at any time for any reason you so choose however... You may NOT Kill anyone repeatedly for Any Reason...
- Just because I allow you to smack each other silly Doesn't mean you can be a Prick and ruin everyones day... I believe we are mature enough to be able to handle the responsibility of World PVP.
- Why would you want to pvp though..? Well you can Steal players Money first and foremost!
- The reward you get from Killing Players Directly (traps do not count) is you Steal some of their pocket Change!
- This allows for great fun including Arena Matches!
- 5.0 - [Towns]
- ____________________
- Another Risky Move on my part but Again I believe we shall prosper Greatly under this.... Where to start... So much to Say... So little time~!
- Well. Towns are include The Wilderness, Plots, Shops, and Portals.
- 5.1 - [The Wilderness]
- ____________________
- The Wilderness are No Man Lands filled with Monsters PVP and Darkness... And a Very Important part of this server...
- Because of your "Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc), You have been Banished from Building in The Wilderness and Must purchase land from Him to start your own Nations, Towns, and Buildings.
- Meaning you must mine... Gather... Harvest... and Explore in complete Dispair out of towns. The only thing keeping you alive are your tools.. Furry Companion... Survival Instincts... and your Torch
- 5.2 - [Plots]
- ____________________
- Plots are lots of lands approved and blessed with a forcefield allowing building and a safehold from the wandering killers and pillagers of the wilds!
- To get a Land approved and Blessed by The "Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc) You must be at least 400 Blocks away from the last Settlement... For he will keep a Log of all transactions dealing with Land at all times.
- Plots are 21x21 squares of lands... On these Plots you May Build and Destroy. The Blessing Changes for Plot you own.
- The Plot names are...
- Settlement: 7 Plots of Land = 147 Square Blocks of Room.... [No PVP]
- Town: 15 Plots of Land = 315 Square Blocks of Room... Must have 5 Citizens [No PVP, No Monsters]
- City: 30 Plots of Land = 630 Square Blocks of Room... Must have 10 Citizens [No PVP, No Monsters, Rapid Health Regeneration]
- 5.3 - [Shops]
- ____________________
- Shops are a Major Source of income and Popularity among locals. You may sell or buy in these shops goods people have collected for the store owners set amount...
- The City/Nations owner must request The "Tyrant King"s (Avous Yelmurc) permission to set up a store for a citizen... In these Shops you may purchase many optional goods...
- A few of which being.. Crafting Tables... Furnaces... and Anvils... Extra Inventory Slots. Which are Unobtainable through normal methods...
- 5.4 - [Potals]
- ____________________
- Portals are Extremely Important for Towns Economy and Locals... For a Portal... Two Nations/Towns must agree to enabling a Fast Travel System to each other...
- And then Pay The "Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc) to Set up a portal at the desired Location.
- When the portal is set up on both ends... Any user that wishes to can travel Instantly to very distant towns apon stepping on the Portal.
- 6.0 - [Misc]
- ____________________
- This will hold Misc changes to gameplay that you would not know without reading these notes.
- It is impossible to make or pick up Iron Blocks (Anvils)... Crafting Tables... Furances... Shop Inventory Chests... Job Bins (For Selling your Basic Job related Resources instantly)
- These will only be avalible in Shops or Towns!... Ask "The Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc) to set one up for you in your Towns or Houses.
- You cant Build out of towns but you can gather materials still
- Or at least im attempting to make it as such. I should be able to accomplish this with any assistance from a Plugin Dev.
- Well thats it kiddos... All the changes I plan to impliment. I hope this answered your questions. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
- Notes from the "Tyrant King" (Avous Yelmurc)
- ... With All my Love
