  1. Scanning - You can currently see the natural resources, ships, and upgrades on stars up to 3 light years away from your own, in addition to enemy carrier movements within that area. Each upgrade increases this by 1.

  3. Hyperspace Range - You can currently make jumps up to 4 light years in distance (so you can make blind jumps to stars past your scanning distance). Each upgrade increases this by 1.

  5. Terraforming - Natural resources lower the cost of upgrades. You currently provide 5 extra natural resources to each star you control. Each upgrade increases this by another 5.

  7. Experimentation - At the beginning of a cycle (once every 2 turns), generates 72 points of research in a random research. Each upgrade increases this amount by 72.
  8.  
  9. Weapons - The amount of ships you will destroy each round it is your turn in combat. If you are the defender you will shoot first and fire at weapons +1.
  10.  
  11. Banking - At the beginning of a cycle (once every 2 turns), generates 75 credits. Each upgrade increases this by 75 credits.
  12.  
  13. Manufacturing - You generate additional ships per cycle. You currently generate 6 ships per 24 hours per point of industry. Each upgrade increases that number by 1.
