How to Update Apps on ChromeCast

There are two ways that you can update an app (if one is available)

Method #1:

1.) Hold the app you want to update and click on ‘Open’ and ‘View details.

2.) If there is an update available, it will show. Simply click to update it.


Method #2:
1.) Go to settings, click on ‘Apps’ and go over to ‘Manage updates’ and ‘See available updates’.

There you’ll see all of your device’s available updates.


To update your ChromeCast itself:
Go to ‘Settings’, ‘System’, ‘About’ and ‘System update’
