- arrows. Odd looked at them. 'Precious gifts, these,' he said. They
- were feathered with gold and flew of their own accord from the
- bowstring and back again, so there was never any need to search for
- them.
- 'Ketil Trout took these arrows off Gusir, king of the Lapps,' said
- Grim. 'Because dwarfs made them, they bite anything they're told
- to.'
- 'I've never in my life received a gift to compare with these,' said
- Odd. He thanked his father for them and they parted the best of
- friends. Odd stepped aboard and said they should start their travels
- away from the island, so they unfurled sails first on Odd's ship and
- then on the other.
