Baragon vs buildings

The brick facade of the city hall crumbled under Baragon's onslaught, and the wooden Baptist church was leveled almost instantly. The Lutheran church nearby was the tallest structure in Denning. Even so, Baragon towered over it. With an angry, defiant roar, the monster smashed into the stone steeple with its horn snout.

The stone structure crumbled.

The bell dropped out of the steeple and clanged into the concrete sidewalk. Fortunately, most of the parishioners had not yet arrived for the services in either church. Reverend Price quickly fled the Baptist church through the back door just before the building was demolished. Pastor Gale head of the Lutheran congregation, was not so lucky.

As soon as the city hall and the churches were destroyed, Baragon leaped forward, searching for more prey. His leap covered three city blocks.
