- She's a life-sized plush doll with jointed armature inside, created by an unnamed dollmaker in the image of his childhood sweetheart and fiancé, who had died tragically before they could wed. She's not haunted by her spirit, but by a lonely spectre who had been isolated so long she could not even remember her name, let alone her life. So, she inhabited the doll, craving the company and care of another, even if vicariously through the doll.
- The dollmaker has long since joined his beloved in the afterlife, yet the lifelike masterwork of his craft continues to house the spirit, who still craves the companionship of the living, and often will take something of a house-fae like approach to those who own her doll; if the doll is well cared for, and treated kindly, she may take actively possess it and do things about the house to be helpful
- But in the few instances where someone's neglected, or worse, mistreated her doll, they've found themselves plagued by misfortune and accidents, sometimes increasing in dangerousness, with her deliberately leaving the doll in different positions than they had left it in order to encourage them to pass her host on to someone else... And well, we don't say what happened to the one person who attempted to destroy the doll instead.
