  1. Once upon a time, a young boy named Timmy was walking through the aisles of his local supermarket with his mother. As they turned down the meat section, Timmy's eyes fell upon a disturbing sight. There, hanging from a meat hook, was a dead cow.
  2.
  3. Timmy was shocked and confused by the sight. He couldn't understand why the cow was there, and why it was dead. He turned to his mother and asked, "Mom, what happened to the cow?"
  4.
  5. His mother, trying to keep things simple for her young son, explained that the cow had been killed so that people could eat its meat. Timmy was horrified by this answer. He couldn't believe that someone would kill an innocent animal just so they could eat it.
  6.
  7. As he continued to stare at the cow, Timmy couldn't help but wonder if the cow had been a coward. After all, it had let itself be killed without putting up a fight. But then again, Timmy thought, maybe the cow hadn't had a choice. Maybe it had been forced into a situation where it didn't have any options.
  8.
  9. Timmy continued to ponder this question as he and his mother finished their shopping and went home. He couldn't shake the image of the dead cow from his mind, and he couldn't stop thinking about whether or not it had been a coward.
  10.
  11. As he grew older, Timmy continued to think about the cow and what had happened to it. He began to question the entire meat industry and the ethics behind it. He even considered becoming a vegetarian, but he wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do.
  12.
  13. Eventually, Timmy decided to write a book about his experiences and his thoughts on the matter. He called it "What if it was a coward?" and in it, he explored the question of whether or not the cow had been a coward, and what that might say about the way we treat animals.
  14.
  15. Through his writing, Timmy hoped to raise awareness about the issue and encourage others to think more carefully about the meat they eat and where it comes from. He wanted to make sure that no other cows had to suffer the same fate as the one he had seen hanging from the meat hook in the supermarket.
