If you Ritual Summon a "Pyrescales" monster with this effect, using 2 or more "Pyrescales" monsters with the same name, it cannot be destroyed, or banished, by card effects.

You can only use each of the following effects of "Pyrescales Thorax" once per turn. You can Tribute 1 Insect monster; Special Summon 1 "Pyrescales" monster with a different name from your Deck. During your Main Phase: You can Ritual Summon 1 Insect Ritual Monster from your hand, by Tributing monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed its Level.

When an opponent's monster declares an attack, while you control 2 or more "Pyrescales" monsters with the same name: Destroy that monster, then you can apply the following effect.
● Ritual Summon 1 "Pyrescales" Ritual Monster from your hand or Deck by Tributing monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon.
You can only activate 1 "Pyrescales Resistance" per turn.
