  1. The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) is utilized by several member states of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) for its appellate jurisdiction. As of the latest information available to me, the countries that have adopted the CCJ as their final court of appeal are Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Guyana, and St. Lucia. Other CARICOM member states still retain the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council as their highest appellate court. The CCJ also serves all CARICOM member states in its original jurisdiction, which relates to the interpretation and application of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas.
