 Moving without thinking, Charlie let go of the man and dropped to the floor, just in time for Clark to lash out with a single left jab.

Charlie scrambled to his feet as Clark moved to stand beside him. The man had launched into a wall and gone right through it: Charlie realised that it may well have been the same one he’d been launched into by the heart woman, making it pre-weakened. He had come to rest in the living room, beneath one of the windows.
