Kalos: Raven:
Sure.

For reference...
If it matters, he's 27 years old.
Kalos - Today at 9:58 AM
Don't really have an art ref for runi, but something to approximate might be http://t.facdn.net/24826649@400-1505665464.jpg, where the dark color is replaced with more white, and the blue with a bright, prismatic red.
(She's almost entirely white, as a result.)
(she's in her 50s, but one can't tell that when age-locking drugs are around.)
Raven - Today at 10:00 AM
It was just another day for Julius. One of his contacts had turned out to be quite unreliable. The fool had gone and gotten himself addicted to chems, again. And so there had been little to do than to break off contact. Now, he was walking through one of the darker places on the station. Hands in his pockets, hood up, eyes to the ground... Everything to avoid getting recognized. The crowd was sparse... Some drunkard staggering along a wall, some girls-for-hire by the other. Though they paid him no mind. Even trying to be incognito, he didn't exactly seem like an ordinary customer. His current home, a dingy little hotel near the edge of the station, was just around the corner. It was late... Evening, by local time.
Kalos - Today at 10:00 AM
( http://d.facdn.net/art/felisrandomis/1500779595/1500779595.felisrandomis_menti_reference.png looks like it might be one of Runi's sons )
Kalos: Everything to avoid being recognized, but sometimes even the best attempts fail against the more low-placed security cameras... By someone who has access to all of them. Now arriving into his building, everything went as expected and uneventful, going up the elevator to the 5th floor and starting down the hallways, there was an Avali there, sitting against one of the walls. White feathered for the most part with a few rare dabs of red- bright colors, but bland enough in combinations to clearly be female.

She wear wearing what appeared to be ordinary clothing, covered with the logos of some fighting game teaam at the local tournament, eyes glazed over, looking forward, lost in the interface of one's implants.

A few things seemed off, though- Her arms had no long wing feathers, commonly plucked to deal better with spacesuits and armor among military or at least space-active Avali. And on this side was just the barest glimpse of the handle of something- perhaps a knife, or a pistol, most of it hidden within her outfit. Just as Julius might react, she snapped out of her trance, and looked over- "Heard you're looking for employment, Julius?" her 4 ears pointing his way down the hallway.
(should I use second person here?)
Kalos: Raven - Today at 10:12 AM
(Your choice.)
This wasn't the sort of place one would just idle in the hallways at. It was the sort of place you went to to sleep or get drugged out, and then left. So the fact that anyone at all was sitting in the corridor was suspicious. In his younger days, he had learnt to recognize everything from off-duty cops to smugglers attempting to remain incognito... And this avali reeked of danger... As she spoke, and made her knowledge of him clear, he stopped walking and shifted position slightly. His arms extended down his sides, legs spread just slightly... A combat stance. But he was not enough of a fool to attack just because someone knew him... "That depends on who is offering, Ms...?"
Kalos - Today at 10:26 AM
"Depends, Do you want to invite me into your room, for a chat, or do you want to take this to a coffee shop?" She jesticulated to you just as much with her ears as her arms. Her clothing slowly started to morph, shirt connecting with the pants, sleeves growing gloves... It was a morph wear biosuit- but it wasn't fully overt quite yet, but she didn't adopt the same stance you did either. "Big people, either way."
Raven - Today at 10:31 AM
"Neither of those are particularly attractive offers." He notes. "You obviously know where I lay my head, there is no telling what you might have done to the place." He comments, nodding towards the door leading into his room. "And I sincerely doubt you're alone. But this place is private enough. That I am not dodging plasma tells me you might just be worth listening to."
Kalos: Kalos - Today at 10:38 AM
"I think this is hardly the place to be pouring your heart out. Do you want to stay in this dump and other dumps just like it, forever, always running?"
"But, Then this will be our 'coffee shop' I suppose." she shrugged(edited)
Raven - Today at 10:44 AM
He manages a small smirk. "I'm sorry, but I was always taught not to go with strangers, as the case may be... Convince me I am not about to be ambushed by a squad of gun-toting avali, and we can get more comfortable. Until then, however, this will do."
Kalos - Today at 10:47 AM
"This is fine, really." she shrugged, and moved a hand to her mouth, clearing her throat or at least gesturing such- "So, I understand your last full time employment ended with some rather negative remarks on your account, Do you have any regrets, and do you think could have done better?" speaking in euphamisms in classic interview banter, like any regular job.(edited)
Raven - Today at 10:53 AM
Julius crosses his arms, still cautious, though. Ready to spring away at a moment's notice, should things escalate. "Some lives were lost unnecessarily. Some words were exchanged though they didn't need to... While I might have been able to act better in such a situation, the fault was not mine."
Kalos - Today at 10:55 AM
"Do you have a criminal record?" she asked, seemingly rhetorically- surely she must know, if she knows your name.
Kalos: Raven - Today at 10:56 AM
"Do you?" Is the reply she receives, rather than a straight answer...
Kalos - Today at 10:58 AM
"Parking tickets, petty theft, belligerent public intoxication. Your turn." she rolled her eyes
Raven: He raises an eyebrow. "First, I would like to warn you that I am unlikely to come along quietly if this is the prelude to an arrest. You seem well-informed... I am certain you are aware of what that means." He pauses for a moment, if only to take a bit of a breath. "What I am specifically wanted for... Parking tickets. Vandalism. Larceny. Theft. Assault. Assault of an officer. Possession of illicit goods. Purchase of illicit goods. Conspiracy. Resisting Arrest. And finally... Murder. Though in my defense, the last one I did not actually do."
Kalos: "Sure you don't want this to be more private? What kind of conspiracy?" was the only thing she asked afterwards, waiting for a response.
Raven: "I checked beforehand, and the building does not have surveillance. At least, it didn't before your arrival. I am still not convinced you're not here to arrest me or attempt to blackmail me into something."
Kalos: "Oh please, if this was an arrest there'd be a dozen officers here in every room ready to burst out- I thought you knew how this worked."
Raven: He shrugs. "You might be waiting for a bribe offer. But if that's not the case. Why don't you tell me why you're actually here, then?"
Kalos: "I'm here to hire you on the behalf of Narirela, My name is Runi Thistle."
Kalos: "Spaceknights." she added simply- the full, and truer title likely not known.
Raven: He breathes a single breath, expelling it through his nose. "Not many would make a claim like that..." He admits. "Very well, you have convinced me." With that, he steps over to the door, blipping the key, sliding open the door, and stepping inside.
Kalos: She stepped on in after you, closing the door behind her, and leaned back against it.
Kalos: "So, what's the worst thing you have ever done, ever?"
Raven: "A bit of a personal question..." He notes, moving inside and having himself a seat on the bed. It seems to be taking up almost half the room. "Apologies for the messiness. The place doesn't lend itself to being kept tidy."
Kalos: "I guessed you'd be leaving here in a few days, didn't imagine you'd be cleaning it up much. Some people know you're here- your name popped up on a database with this current info after it was purchased." she seemed fine with the question being deflected for now
Kalos: "Charges a high price, but you weren't actually what we were looking for, then."
Raven: A chuckle. "I expected as much. But I'm not worried. Most of the law don't worry enough about me to be snooping around. And my... Previous colleagues usually take about a week to figure out where I am."
Kalos: "Question still stands. Gotta know your answer to that one. Be real."
Raven: He grunts quietly and leans back a little bit. "Worst by who's account? The law? My mother?"
Kalos: "Whatever you think it is."
Kalos: "I've had some rather adorable answers, over the past half-year."
Kalos: "..and some rather heinous ones,"
Raven: Julius hesitates for a moment or two. Considering. "Under my previous employment, there were often... Rivalries. I had been ordered to make sure no reinforcements came into the building. I was outside, a few paces away. Colleague of mine comes rushing out of the building, just as the whole thing bursts into flames. Incendiary explosive, he tells me. Gets rid of evidence and the like. We stay outside for a few moments. And I can hear them inside. People. Still alive. But unable to get out. I'm sure you've heard burning to death is the worst fate possible... Still not entirely sure, after all this time. But I still thought I heard children in there. Crying. But just then, I was told we should move away. The authorities were coming after all..."
Kalos: She nods, ears returning to a more relaxed position, though two remained pointed. "Well, then- I think you know some things about secrecy- Do you know what kind of work you're going to be getting into, now?"
Raven: "You're assuming I'll accept..." He hums. "But I expect it'll be mostly covert ops. The spaceknights are sort of like secret police, aren't they? So, spying, then. Sabotage, assassination, infiltration, coercion..."
Kalos: "Yea, I am assuming, and you will, too, won't you?" she said confidently, smiling a bit. "I've only had someone refuse two times. And yea, that's about right. Sounds right up your skillset, don't you think?"
Raven: "Outright assassination has never been my style. But aside from that... I expect I'll be well compensated?"
Kalos: "ehh." she shrugged. "Might not pay anywhere as well as being a top bodyguard, but it's legitimate work, with benefits and a retirement plan. Dental, too" She said the last couple words jokingly.
Raven: "Would I be working solo, or in a team?"
Kalos: "Team. at least for a while. Solo work doesn't suit everyone, especially for something like this. It's always good to have someone there to save you."
Raven: He nods. "Agreed. And what about my... Problem? You're no doubt aware that others want me for... Various things."
Kalos: "well aware." she looked down at the foor and then the ceiling of the dumpy apartment. "If everything goes correctly, no one should know where you are- that said if you happen to run into your friends, there's only so much we can do."
Raven: "Good enough, I suppose... Alright, you've got my interest."
Kalos: "Any questions?"
Raven: "Many. But I expect they'll be answered in time."
Kalos: She starts to reach into her left-side pockets, and pulls out a pair of 'bricks', her thigh now notwhere near as bulged-
Kalos: One of them is some kind of device, with buttons and a screen, the other is wrapped in black bioplas. "If you take these two things, you are accepting the job. Realize betrayel of this will result in... additional friends."
Raven: He chuckles. "Seems like all jobs these days bring trouble... Out of curiosity, what happens if I only take one of them?" He jokes.
Kalos: "well, you need to take both. One of them is 50 grand, and the other one is a communication device."
Kalos: "taking one without the other is theft, because I won't give only one of them."
Raven: "Well then... Remind me to not make any jokes with you around..." Despite his comment, he reaches forth and accepts the two items.
Kalos: she lets you have them. "Welcome to the job. Give me a call when you're moving out, I'm on the station."
Kalos: "it's a hyperspace communicator. If it gets lost or stolen, you have to tell me immediately."
Kalos: Normally, hyperspace connection devices are the size of a car engine block..
Kalos: this is a brick.
Kalos: same weight, too.
Raven: "Right..."
Kalos: "Anyway, I'm out for now, then. good luck, kiddo.~" she swishes her tail and turns to the door behind her, opening it, pausing for a moment if you have any last words.
Raven: "Luck? Hm." Are his parting words, apparently.
Kalos: "mhm~" the door closes
