Prologue

Reyalis cast their jeweled gaze to the two before them, Tertius and Freya. The Starmap narrowed their eyes and twisted their talons, pulling memories into the space around them. Tertius gulped as he said in a shaking voice, "Y-Your Majesty, we did nothing."
They cast their very thoughts into the air to say what their voice could not; 𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳. With another movement of their talons, Reyalis pulled a useful memory from the conglomerate and played it out. Freya flinched but remained silent, watching intently what her memories would reveal.
