- 1. So, this is going to be somewhat of an update of the 'not gaming situation,' or maybe it could be a part of my autobiography in my life right now. Who knows? Also, I'm partially typing this as practice because I have a lot to type for my online college English class, and a thing is due on Sunday (I'm writing this on Wednesday lol). Anyways, I've recently come to terms that my life is very uninteresting and boring. For starters, I live at my parents' house, but I'm only 18 and I still have to buy my car to travel without taking someone else's vehicle, so I can't necessarily travel unbounded. There's also the price of gas prices... and I don't have a job right now, and college is A LOT for me work-wise. Regarding the 'no-gaming' policy that I put on myself, I have come to realize that going cold turkey on anything results in horrible relapse if you go back to the thing that you stopped taking or doing. Disallowing video games, or games of any sort, means that your life is boring as all hell. Nothing I did throughout the day was interactive virtually, and I found myself playing a game even after placing this on myself, and this was when I knew that doing the procedure was impractical if I wanted to live a good life. Sure, I could've weaned myself off of them, but I sound like a grandpa if I say that I don't play games. However, as I have gotten rid of the rule, I have found myself playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (great game, by the way) without doing my college work, so I could possibly get behind while my midterms are nearly due. To elaborate, I play a game/games without focusing on my college work or mayhaps other work that needs to be complete. This wasn't really a problem, besides the fact that I tend to do my weekly English thing by the last day, which is unlikely to be done this way since this week is my midterm English thing due. I'm already demotivated to do that class because it's online so it sucks more to do it. I think that's all that I wanted to say, so I think I'll leave this here. I might make some more updates in my life this way because it's kind of cool to bypass the About Me character limit on Discord. Anyways, see you later.
