You'll have to figure out how to get them from the server without getting a 404 error. Which is actually a lot harder than it looks. But the files are still on there! They just aren't accessible through the regular way they were meant to be accessed. You'll probably have to hack into the server/database, do some Googling, etc. to get the files. And when you get the files, they could be all obfuscated and everything. Basically, meaning that it wouldn't be the regular files, it would be a bunch of random data crap instead. The Google cache doesn't work; I've already tried it. This is probably the farthest you're going to get to rescuing the files without having to do a whole lot of work.
