Dreadhorde - Bontu ganks Bolas' sparks

Liliana’s God-Eternals moved in for the kill and were suddenly right on top of HIM. BOLAS barely managed to OBLITERATE Oketra.

But weakened by the effort—and by the still-undealt-with spear—HE was too slow to stop Bontu, who bit her former GOD-PHARAOH on the wrist.

The pain was insignificant—certainly relative to the spear wound—but the damage had been done. NO! NO! NO!

At once and automatically, Bontu began harvesting. All the Sparks the Elderspell had granted Him. All of them, all at once. Bontu absorbed these Sparks but could not contain them. She ruptured into shards, exploding in a light so bright, even Bolas was forced to shield his eyes.

NO. I CANNOT BE HARMED BY MERE LIGHT. NOT NOW. Not now. A suddenly desperate Bolas tried to reabsorb the godlike power he had only so recently gained. He tried to pull the Sparks back in. In fact, he expected them to return to his Spirit-Gem—only to realize his Elderspell had been disrupted.
