[big][b]How to Join?[/b][/big]

- Choose a Nickname
- Any Channel you wish to join.

[big][b]My Nick Gets Taken?[/b][/big]

If your Nick keeps getting taken type the following in any channel:
[code]/ns register *password* *email*
[/code] - /ns help is always a good command if you need help with your nick.

- Go onto your email account, copy and paste the code they give you, should look something like this:
[code]/ns confirm rVkYAU58Hj[/code]

-Now your nick is registered, every time you join the IRC Network you must type:
[code]/ns identify *pass*[/code] - or if you have a client. you can get that to do it for you.

Some are free and some you have to pay for.
It is strongly suggest that you [b]DO NOT[/b] use another IRC Client until you fully know and are used to all the IRC Features and Commands.

No, IRC is a text chat, you are thinking of ventrilo.

Try clearing your cache and cookies, if not a different browser might help.

[i]- Is there a mobile version of IRC?[/i]
There are a few, I have not research it but I believe there are some such as AndroIRC for Android phones.

[i]- Do I have to sign up or download anything?[/i]
You do not have to sign up, the only thing where you must provide your email for is registering you nick, this is so no-one can take your nickname when they login to IRC and some features such as adding people to Access List requires registered nicks.
Download is optional for IRC, you can either stick to a web client (mibbit.com) or download a separate IRC client for yourself.
