How to Connect To FTP On MacOSX

  1. 01.) Go to System Settings, General and Sharing (Or Sharing in the System Preferences pane)

  3. 02.) Enable remote login
  4.  
  5. 03.) Click the “i” icon to choose whether to allow access to all users or only users you choose. Then quit System Settings
  6.  
  7. 04.) Go to 'Finder'
  8.  
  9. 05.) Choose the 'Go' menu then click on 'Connect to Server'
  10.  
  11. 06.) Go back to CX File Explorer, and enter the IP
  12.  
  13. 07.) If requested: type the username and password
  14.  
  15. Enabling remote login allows SFTP access to your Mac using the username and password of an account you have allowed access to.
