Kodi For Beginners: How to Install A Kodi Add-On

If this is your first time setting up Kodi, don’t forget to enable ‘INSTALL FROM UNKNOWN SOURCES’

When Kodi is open; click on settings (the COG) on the top left

Click on ‘FILE MANAGER’

Click on ‘ADD SOURCE’

Click on <NONE> and add the URL of the add-on you wish to use

A popular one is ‘The Crew’ for example. The URL for ‘The Crew’ is;
https://team-crew.github.io/

In the URL bar below it; enter a name.
‘TheCrew’, for example. Any name will do.
Make sure it’s coherent enough of a name that you know what it is

Click ‘OK’

Go back to the home menu and click ‘ADD-ONS’ on the left side bar

Click on ‘INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE’ at the top

Click on the ‘.zip’’file for it to start downloading

A box will pop up that the add-on has been installed

Go back to the “Add-ons” tab

Click on “Install from repository”

Click on the repo you installed

Click on “program add-ons”

Click on the Wizard

Click “Install”
