Fight with Gaw

The rampage leveled whole sections of the Old City, progressing to the round plaza where once the toppled statues had stood guard. Kong’s blows often glanced off Gaw’s bobbing, spiked skull and it ripped into even his thick skin, drawing blood.
Gaw continued to snap and probe, trying for a death-grip. Kong keyed on her movements and ducked down, lunging into Gaw’s flank. The two behemoths collided with what had been the ancient Pendonjira’s dwelling, crushing the stone walls. Ishara, Kublai, and Charlie sprang up — they had run to the central plaza and the half-ruined house for shelter — as now the battle had come to them. Ishara pulled the two men with her, into the courtyard of the King’s house. “They are nearly above it!” she gasped, staring at the battle in the moonlight.
