- Thanks very much for getting back to me! It didn't occur to me to pinch the map and see where I had dropped pins. If I understand you correctly, this is what I currently have to do to get from a task to directions to its location:
- Say I'm out running errands, and I look at my list of things to do and see that I have a package to drop off at the UPS Store. From that point, I need to:
- 1. Swipe to the left.
- 2. Tap the locations button.
- 3. Pinch the map to see my pins.
- 4. Tap a pin to see if it's the one for the UPS store.
- 5. Tap another.
- 6. Tap another.
- 7. Finally find the right one.
- 8. Tap the car button.
- 9. Tap and hold to drop a pin in the Maps app.
- 10. Tap to get directions.
- That seems like an awful lot of unnecessary tapping. The task knows what address is associated with it. Why not have a button in the task that launches driving directions from your current location with one tap? Am I missing something? Is there already an easier way to get directions?
- It would be even better if the task could be associated with a search for nearby UPS Stores like in OmniFocus, but I'm sure other people have already pestered you about that. :-)
- Thanks very much for your work,
- Jeff
