- "It's time to focus our ears and eyes on to these new figures that are going to rewrite the history of Korea's pop music."
- Third generation idols are perfect in every aspect of what's expected of them. In this competitive market is Korea's first ever traditional hip hop idol group, Block B. These blockbuster hopefuls of the Korean music market debuted with their first single album, "Do U Wanna B?"
- Their debut single meshes hip hop and the friendliness of the idol image. Although the hip hop genre is already a well known trend all over the world, it still hasn't found a firm foundation in Korea yet. Through the use of their friendly idol image, Block B has set out with power, youth, innovation, and freedom to set the idol market ablaze with their music.

- MUTNAM: Block B? Prior to your debut, the public took a lot of interest in your group. First of all, what does your name mean?
- Block B: It's a shortened form of the term 'blockbuster.' It basically means that we want to become a group of importance and weight in the Korean music industry.

- Team Leader - Zico
- Q. Zico? I heard you were the team leader.
- Zico: Before the team was created, I caught the attention of Cho PD and was chosen first.
- Q. Then did you train for a long time?
- Zico: A bit over a year and a half.
- Q. What was the hardest part of your training?
- Zico: It was difficult have to live a life of reptitive patterns. Personality-wise, I hate being trapped in a frame or cage, so it was hard to adjust to the systematic way of training... It was also stressful having to deal with our debut being delayed by months. It was because of music that I was able to withstand the hardships. Every time I'd go through emotional ups and downs, I'd relieve my stress by expressing everything through my lyrics.. (laughter).

- Q. You're very handsome (laughter). How was your photoshoot today? Did you like the clothes?
- Kyung: It was really fun~ I love wearing casual clothing usually, so I liked how it fit my personal style.

- Taeil: I auditioned for a lot of different companies. I actually failed my current company's audition four times, but was able to receive another offer after "Birth of a Great Star" began airing. After that, I began my debut preparations.
- Q. What's your role in Block B?
- Taeil: I'm currently the main vocalist of Block B. We'll be working hard with our promotions.. I'd love to be able to attend the year-end ceremonies this year (laughter).
