For centuries, the imperial throne of Ryma has always held power over the realms of Ryma, the capital to the bastion that is the Masqued Empire.

However, the Emperor has now secluded himself from the politics and squabbles of Ryma leaving behind an edict for those who dare follow it.

"The title of Warmaster shall no longer be a title given by the Emperor but one that is earned through battle and blood. Unto you all, I bestow the privilege of warfare, brother upon brother, sister upon sister none are exempt. Whoever becomes Warmaster, will be military ruler of Ryma and the Empire, may the strongest warlord gain glory and power, Gloria Ryma."

And so, the age of imperial authoritarianism came to pass and so the age of warlords was born.
